VFX Client Toolkit – 0.0.1

After just finishing up supervising a show client-side (more on that in later posts) I’d like to announce a toolkit of utilities and other pipeline tools for handling versions and file management.

At present the system’s backend is Shotgun but in future versions, this will be expanded to support FTrack also.

This initial version is cleaned up from the produciton version that was used on a show and a configuration system has been added to make it a little easier for non-developers to setup and configure.

The toolchain included is as follows:

For auto ingesting of versions into Shotgun with file version management.

Easy downloading and packaging of creative notes for vendors

To package ingested versions to upload or send to DI etc
